Founded in 1993, the Cobb Community Foundation (CCF) is a philanthropic foundation through which individuals, families, organizations and corporations can support the Cobb community and the charitable causes of their choice.

Through collaboration, cooperation and partnership, Cobb Community Foundation (a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization) takes a leadership role in promoting the importance of effective philanthropy in Cobb County.  While we use professionals to invest and manage assets, our board is made up of local citizens who know all aspects of the community.  Together, our team helps establish permanent funds to support a broad range of interests, including education, the arts, health and the conservation of historical, cultural and environmental resources.

Almost any kind of asset can be used to establish a fund, including cash, publicly traded securities, real estate, life insurance, private foundation assets and more. Along with feeling good about giving, fund originators or donors can expect a maximum tax advantage and a higher deduction than the same gift amount placed in a private foundation.
