Rachael Rucker

Community Initiatives Associate

After a year with Cobb Community Foundation (CCF) spent as an intern, Rachael joined the CCF staff as the Community Initiatives Associate in June of 2018. With a Bachelors of Business Administration in Management and a certification in Non-profit Leadership and Management, she combined the best of both worlds.

Her passion for non-profit work began in the eighth grade with a 7-year volunteer experience at a local Cobb County non-profit where she witnessed the power of a community that cares. As a Cobb County resident for almost 20 years, Rachael has a strong respect and love for the people and organizations that work to take care of it and each other. Her position as Community Initiatives Associate has her out among the non-profits of Cobb County to learn how CCF can best partner with and support them.

In the fall, she will be continuing her education on how best to serve the Cobb Community with Kennesaw State University’s Masters of Public Administration, with a concentration in nonprofit studies.
